What I offer

Close-up of a water droplet creating a splash and ripples on the surface of a body of water demonstrating physics principles in action showing home and online tutoring examples for students.

Physics

Physics is brought to life using everyday examples, simple practical activities that can be carried out at home, and real-world predictions using Maths and Physics. This approach helps students understand why concepts matter, not just how to answer exam questions.

A hand holding a dropper with purple liquid, about to drop it into a small pink and white marble-effect cup. Four small cups filled with different colored liquids are on a white surface, four mugs in various colors surrounding them. A small brown bottle with a white label is in the background.

Chemistry

Chemistry is taught through real-world context and hands-on learning, linking theory to practical activities and scientific analysis. Students are encouraged to build curiosity, confidence, and a genuine appreciation for how Chemistry explains the world around them.

Biology

Discover the fascinating biological principles underpinning life through clear explanations, practical examples, and strong links between topics to improve long-term understanding and exam performance.

Maths

Mathematical concepts are developed from a clear starting point in small, manageable steps. Students learn how to apply Maths to real-world situations and recognise patterns that deepen understanding and confidence.

We were extremely satisfied with Kim and cannot recommend him highly enough. He supported our son with GCSE Combined Science, and the improvement we saw was massive. Kim’s explanations were clear, structured, and tailored to our son’s learning style, which really helped build both understanding and confidence. He was always well prepared and focused strongly on exam preparation, which made a real difference. Our son felt supported and motivated throughout the process, and his progress exceeded our expectations. An excellent tutor who delivers real results.
